HOW TO TALK TO HUMANS (Remix EP) is a unique experiment in the history of DAMAGE, bringing together a series of remixes based on source tracks produced by Joe Livingston and the band. At its core are two new original tracks by DAMAGE: “Carriage Horses,” a full-on hardcore assault, and “How To Talk To Humans,” an upbeat synth-punk track—both built on analog synthesizers and live drums.
Joe then distributed electronic versions of the tracks, featuring Mike’s vocal samples, to three artists for reinterpretation, while also contributing two additional remixes of his own. The result is a 12" EP that blends electronic dance influences with the raw energy of two punk originals.
