History

Space Fish Records is an independent label founded in 1983 by Michael Brown and the members of the seminal synth-punk band DAMAGE, and later joined by Michael Bales, the founding member of Love Gods in Leisure Suits.  Originally based out of Orlando, FL, Space Fish focused on the emergent Central Florida punk and hardcore music scene and later expanded to other alternative genres, including rockabilly, electronic, and house. 

Now located in Brooklyn, Space Fish has rebooted in support of legacy artists and continues to be managed by members of DAMAGE.
